Bill Schumacher joined Bradford Marine in 2003 as Naval Architect. His responsibilities include providing construction research, information, plans and on-site technical assistance for shipyard projects and participating as a member of the company’s job estimating team. Bill is an important member of Bradford Marines technical services team, which compliments the existing line of shipyard and vessel services and ensures the company’s long-standing tradition of customer responsiveness and satisfaction.
Bill has substantial experience as a naval architect and has practiced in South Florida for over 20 years. He has served with the world-renowned naval architect Jack Hargrave and mega-yacht builder Broward Marine. He has been involved in more than twenty-nine mega-yacht new construction projects as well as extensive experience in large yacht repair & refits, including hull extensions and re-powering projects.
Bill is a graduate of the Westlawn School of Yacht Design, and his professional associations include the American Boat & Yacht Council and the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers.
